Up, up, up! Zoom the Sweet is in her special rocket. Whizz! Pop! Go the buttons. Zoom giggles. The rocket wiggles and wobbles a little. Stars twinkle outside the window. Big, shiny stars! Zoom wears a big, white suit. It has a see-through helmet. She sees Earth get smaller. It looks like a blue marble. Wow! The rocket goes faster now. Zoom feels like she's floating. Her toy bunny, Funny Fizz, floats too. Funny Fizz has soft, pink ears. He has a happy, stitched smile. Zoom reaches out to catch him. Boop! She touches his foot. He bobs away! Zoom laughs a little, a happy sound. The rocket makes a soft hum. Hummm-mmm. It's a sleepy sound. Zoom looks at the moon. It's getting bigger and bigger! It looks like a giant cookie now. A yummy, big cookie in the sky. She can see bumpy spots. Dark spots and bright spots. Her rocket goes zoom-zoom. Vroom! Vroom! Almost there. Zoom bounces in her seat. She is very excited. Her little feet tap-tap. Tap-tap-tap. Funny Fizz floats by again. Zoom gives him a little hug. "We're almost there, Funny Fizz!" she whispers. Her voice sounds soft inside her helmet. The moon looks very close now. So, so close. She can nearly touch it with her hand. Big rocket, getting ready. Lights flash inside. Beep-beep! Lights turn green. Time to land! The rocket shakes a tiny bit. Then a big shake! Thump! The rocket has landed! Zoom smiles a huge smile. She made it! She is on the moon!
Zoom opens the rocket door. Hiss! Whoosh! The moon air *whooshes* out. Zoom steps out! Her big white boots touch the moon ground. Bouncy! Her feet feel very light. She takes a big step. Boing! She bounces up high. Wow! Higher than a house! She giggles. Funny Fizz is still in her arms. He bounces with her too. The moon ground is crumbly. It's gray and dusty. Zoom sees big rocks. Some rocks are small. Some rocks are very, very big. She looks around. Everything is gray. And quiet. So quiet. Then, she sees something wiggle. Wiggle, wiggle! Tiny wiggles! Pink wiggles. Then blue wiggles. Are those little creatures? Zoom gets closer. She takes little bouncy steps. Hop! Hop! Down by a big gray rock. There they are! Tiny creatures. They are so little. Like tiny, sparkly gems. One is pink and round. It has big, happy eyes. Another is blue and bouncy. It has little wobbly legs. They make a soft sound. Peep! Peep! They look scared. They huddle together. Sweet Boop is their name! Sweet Boop. Zoom smiles at them. "Hello!" she says. Her voice is soft. The Sweet Boops look up. Their big eyes blink. Blink, blink. They are soft and round. They have little antennae that wiggle. Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle. They are lost! Zoom can tell. They look sad. One little pink Sweet Boop points. It points to the sky. It makes a sad, lost sound. Peep-peep! Zoom understands. They want to go home. But where is home? Zoom looks around. No houses. No trees. Just lots of gray moon dust. She thinks hard. How can she help these tiny, lost friends? Funny Fizz wiggles in her arms. He looks at the Sweet Boops too. He makes a soft 'mrrrrow' sound. Zoom knows. They need a helper. She is here to help! Her heart feels warm. She will find their home.
Zoom looks at the sad Sweet Boops. Peep-peep! Their little antennae droop. Funny Fizz pats one with his pink paw. Zoom thinks. Where do tiny, glowy friends live? She looks at the big rocks. Then she looks at the ground. No clues. The sun is shining bright down on the moon. But the shadows are long. Zoom sees something. A sparkle! Not a Sweet Boop sparkle. A different sparkle. It's a tiny, tiny pathway. Like little glittery dust. It goes 'piff, piff, piff' on the gray ground. "Look, Funny Fizz!" Zoom whispers. Funny Fizz wiggles his nose. He sniffs the sparkly path. "Mmmm," he murmurs. The Sweet Boops look at the sparkle too. Their eyes get big. Blink, blink. They make happy sounds now. Peep-peep-peep! They start to follow the sparkle path. Zoom follows them. Bounce! Bounce! The sparkly path leads around a very big rock. It's taller than Zoom. Zoom bounces around the rock. What's there? A hole! A dark hole in the rock. A cave! Zoom leans closer. She peeks inside. It's dark. But then! A soft, warm light. A glow! It's glowing inside the cave. Sweet Boops make happy chirps. Chirp-chirp! They try to go in. But the cave opening is small. Too small for Zoom's big suit. Funny Fizz looks worried. Zoom has an idea! She can talk to the Sweet Boops. "Wait here, little friends!" she says. She points to the dark opening. Then she points to her rocket. And then she mimes bringing them back. It's hard to explain, but the Sweet Boops seem to understand. They stop. They look at Zoom with their big eyes. They peep-peep at her. Zoom carefully takes off her big suit. It's so heavy! She keeps her helmet on, though. It keeps her safe to breathe. She takes a small step to go in. No, still too small. Zoom looks at Funny Fizz. Funny Fizz is very soft. He can fit! Zoom gives Funny Fizz to the pink Sweet Boop. "Go inside, find your way!" she says. The Sweet Boop takes Funny Fizz. It wiggles its antennae. Then it goes into the cave! Plink! Plink! Zoom listens. She hears little happy chirps. The glow gets brighter! Then, after a little while, the Sweet Boop comes out. It's holding Funny Fizz. And behind it, more Sweet Boops! Lots and lots of them! They are all glowing. They are all very happy. They are home! The cave is their home. Zoom claps her hands. Funny Fizz wiggles. He's a happy bunny. The Sweet Boops dance. Zoom feels warm inside. She helped them! They are not lost anymore. Kindness made her happy.
The Sweet Boops are so happy! They glow and bop. Boop! Boop! They dance around Zoom's feet. Zoom puts her big suit back on. It's warm inside now. She gives Funny Fizz a big hug. He smells like moon dust and happy Sweet Boops. The Sweet Boops wave their little antennae at Zoom. Wiggle, wiggle! They make happy, soft sounds. Peep-peep, thank you! Zoom waves back. "Goodbye, little friends!" she calls. Her voice bounces a little. She gives them one last big smile. Then, she bounces, hop-hop-hop, back to her rocket. The rocket door is open wide. Zoom climbs inside. Clunk! She buckles her seatbelt. Click-click! Funny Fizz sits next to her. His pink ears twitch. Zoom presses a big, red button. Whizz! The rocket engine starts to hum. Hummm-mmm. The moon dust outside wiggles. The Sweet Boops wave from their cave. Small, glowing dots. Zoom waves from her window. Then, the rocket lifts off! Whoosh! Up, up, up! Like a big bird flying. Zoom sees the moon get smaller. It looks like a big gray ball again. Zoom looks at Funny Fizz. "We did it!" she says. Her heart feels full of happy kindness. They helped the lost Sweet Boops find their home. She smiles. Funny Fizz wiggles his nose. He seems to smile too. The earth is getting bigger now. It looks like a big, beautiful blue marble again. Swirly white clouds. Green and brown land. Zoom loves seeing her home. The rocket wiggles and wobbles a little, just like before. Soon, they will land. Thump! Landing at home. Zoom unbuckles. She jumps out of her rocket. Her feet feel heavy again. The ground does not bounce anymore. Wow! Being home is nice. She hugs Funny Fizz tight. "Best moon adventure ever!" she says. She can't wait to tell everyone about her little glowy moon friends. They taught her that being kind makes everyone happy. Even on the moon!
