Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Services and Payment

Subscriptions

  • Your StoryBee subscription will automatically renew until cancelled or terminated
  • We will store your payment information and automatically charge your payment method for your subscription
  • If we're unable to charge your payment method, StoryBee may:
    • Suspend your access to the Services until payment is received
    • Attempt to update your payment information through third-party sources (bank or payment processor)
  • You may cancel your subscription through your account at any time
  • Cancellation before the end of the current subscription period will not result in any refunds
  • You will maintain access to Services through the end of your current paid period

Pricing Changes

  • StoryBee may change subscription prices at any time by posting updated pricing
  • Your current subscription price remains in force until the end of your paid period
  • New pricing will apply at renewal
  • If you disagree with price changes, cancel at least 7 days before they take effect
  • Without cancellation, your subscription automatically renews at the current price

Usage Charges

  • Usage exceeding your subscription limits will incur overage fees as indicated during subscription
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for any overage fees

2. Payment Terms

  • You must have the right to use any payment method you submit
  • We may receive updated payment information from your bank or payment provider
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method, including updated information
  • All charges include applicable taxes and handling fees
  • Legal action for unpaid balances will require you to reimburse all related expenses

3. Refund Policy

  • All sales are final
  • Refunds may be offered at StoryBee's sole discretion
  • No refunds for partial months or unused subscription time

4. Ownership of Services/Products

Upon cancellation, you retain the right to keep any services or products created during your active subscription period.

5. Cancellation Process

User Responsibility for Cancellation

  • It is solely your responsibility to cancel your subscription manually through the StoryBee website
  • To cancel:
    1. Visit www.storybee.app and log into your account
    2. Navigate to subscription settings
    3. Follow the cancellation process through the Stripe billing portal
    4. Ensure you receive a cancellation confirmation email
  • Your cancellation is not complete until you receive the confirmation email
  • If you do not receive a cancellation confirmation email, your subscription may still be active
  • StoryBee is not responsible for charges due to:
    • Failure to complete the cancellation process
    • Not receiving or checking for the confirmation email
    • Assuming cancellation without confirmation
    • Any other failure to verify cancellation status

Cancellation Terms

  • Cancel through the Stripe billing portal before your next billing date
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You will maintain access to services until the end of your current billing period
  • Set a reminder to verify your cancellation went through before your next billing cycle
  • Keep your cancellation confirmation email for your records

6. Rights Reserved

StoryBee reserves the right to:

  • Impose conditions on promotions, coupons, or discounts
  • Bar any user from making transactions
  • Alter payment options for services
  • Refuse service to any user
  • These actions may be taken without prior notice

General Legal Terms

  • Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall StoryBee be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the StoryBee platform, whether or not the damages were foreseeable and whether or not StoryBee was advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StoryBee, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, any violation of this Subscription Cancellation Policy, or any violation of the rights of a third party.

  • Governing Law: This Subscription Cancellation Policy, and your use of the StoryBee platform, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wyoming/USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

  • Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the StoryBee platform or this Subscription Cancellation Policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Wyoming/USA, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties.

  • Entire Agreement: This Subscription Cancellation Policy constitutes the entire agreement between you and StoryBee with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, written or oral, regarding such subject matter.

  • Amendments: StoryBee reserves the right to modify or replace this Subscription Cancellation Policy at any time. It is your responsibility to check the policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.

This agreement is subject to change without notice. Users will be notified of material changes through the Platform.
