Cancellation Policy

1. Ownership of Services/Products

Upon cancellation of your subscription to StoryBee, you retain the right to keep any services or products that were acquired or created using our platform during the term of your active subscription.

2. Refund Policy

If you choose to cancel your subscription in the middle of a billing month, you will not be eligible for a refund for the unused portion of that month. Subscription fees already paid are non-refundable, regardless of the duration of use.

3. Cancellation Process

It is the responsibility of the subscriber to cancel their subscription before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the next month's subscription. All cancellations must be processed via the Stripe billing portal. StoryBee is not responsible for any charges incurred due to failure to cancel before the next billing cycle.

General Legal Terms

  • Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall StoryBee be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the StoryBee platform, whether or not the damages were foreseeable and whether or not StoryBee was advised of the possibility of such damages.

  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StoryBee, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including, but not limited to, attorney's fees) arising out of or related to your use of the platform, any violation of this Subscription Cancellation Policy, or any violation of the rights of a third party.

  • Governing Law: This Subscription Cancellation Policy, and your use of the StoryBee platform, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oregon/USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

  • Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the StoryBee platform or this Subscription Cancellation Policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Oregon/USA, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon in writing by both parties.

  • Entire Agreement: This Subscription Cancellation Policy constitutes the entire agreement between you and StoryBee with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous understandings, written or oral, regarding such subject matter.

  • Amendments: StoryBee reserves the right to modify or replace this Subscription Cancellation Policy at any time. It is your responsibility to check the policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of the platform following the posting of any changes to this policy constitutes acceptance of those changes.
