Kaelys missed her papa. He was gone, and her mama couldn't explain why. All Kaelys had was Vagabond, her fluffy, playful dog. Vagabond would lick away her tears, a furry comfort. One day, Mama took Kaelys to a park with a rainbow painted on a bridge. "See, sweetie?" Mama said, pointing to the bridge. "Papa is like a rainbow. We can't always see him, but he's still there, watching over us." Kaelys looked at the colorful bridge. She imagined her papa in the rainbow's bright colors. Vagabond barked happily, wagging his tail. Kaelys smiled. It wasn't the same as having her papa there, but it helped. She hugged Vagabond tightly. Later, she drew a picture of her papa in the rainbow, Vagabond by her side. She felt a little bit better. The rainbow became a symbol of their invisible connection.
