Tim, toujours sceptique, observa les livres avec prudence. "C’est… impressionnant. Mais… comment on est arrivés ici ?"
Une vieille dame, aux cheveux blancs comme neige et aux yeux rieurs, apparut. "Bienvenue, petits rêveurs ! Je suis la Gardienne. Un rêve s’est échappé… le rêve de Lucas, un petit garçon très triste."
Lila, sans hésitation, prit la parole. "On va l’aider !" Tim, malgré ses doutes, hocha la tête. La Gardienne leur tendit une petite boussole scintillante. "Elle vous guidera. Le rêve perdu se trouve là où les couleurs sont les plus ternes."
Ils se mirent en route, traversant des allées de rêves enchanteurs. Des rêves de princesses et de dragons, de pirates et de châteaux, de voyages spatiaux et d’aventures sous-marines. Mais aucun ne correspondait à la description de la Gardienne. La boussole tremblait de plus en plus fort, indiquant une zone sombre, où les livres étaient gris et poussiéreux.
Ils découvrirent une étagère délabrée. Un livre petit et froissé était presque invisible. "C’est lui !" murmura Lila, pointant du doigt le livre gris. Tim ouvrit prudemment le livre. À l’intérieur, un dessin monochrome d’un petit garçon assis seul sur une balançoire. Autour, un ciel gris et un paysage triste.
"Il faut redonner des couleurs à ce rêve !" proposa Lila. Tim prit un crayon de couleur qu'il trouva par terre. Ils commencèrent à dessiner, ajoutant doucement des couleurs vives au petit dessin. Ils peignirent le ciel d’un bleu éclatant, ajoutèrent des fleurs colorées, et dessinèrent des amis jouant avec Lucas sur la balançoire. Tim, en observant les changements des illustrations, sourit timidement.
