That separation is important because it keeps the classroom relational. The child is not learning from a chatbot. The child is learning from you, using a story you chose and guided.
Sometimes AI produces a story that is too long, too strange, or too advanced for your group. That is normal. Treat it like a first draft from a student writer. Cut sentences. Change the ending. Rewrite one paragraph. You are the editor. The tool is the collaborator.
