Once upon a time, in a bright and bustling little town called High Level, there lived a silly scientist named Matthew. He wore big glasses that made his eyes look huge and had wild hair that stood up like it was always excited. Matthew loved to create things in his lab—things that bubbled, fizzed, or even sparkled with magic!
One sunny day, while mixing some funny-smelling potions, he had an idea! "What if I make the biggest friend ever?" he said with glee.
He worked all day and night until finally—POOF! Out came Alliyah! She was not just any friend; she was a friendly monster with fluffy purple fur and sparkling green eyes. "Hooray! I have my very own monster buddy now!" cheered Matthew.
But then Matthew scratched his head. "What should we do first? Let’s go surprise everyone in High Level! We can be super scary together!!!"
Alliyah looked nervous but smiled sweetly. “Um…maybe we could play instead?”
Matthew shook his head wildly. “No way!” He grabbed Alliyah’s furry hand as they ran towards the town.
As they approached High Level, people were having fun outside their houses—playing hopscotch and flying kites under the blue sky.
Suddenly, Alliyah stopped short. “Oh no!” she gasped as she saw children laughing and playing happily. “Matthew,” she whispered.” What if they don’t want us here?”
Before Matt could answer back with excitement about scaring them away, a shadow swooped down from above! It was Chrisida—the cleverest vampire you’d ever meet! Chrisida had long shiny black hair flowing like waves behind her, and her cape fluttered gracefully as she landed softly on the ground surrounded by an army of tiny bats flapping around her.
“Stop right there!” cried Chrisida proudly.
“You cannot scare my friends in this happy place!”
She pointed at them fiercely but kindly too because deep inside,
she knew it wasn’t fair to frighten anyone without reason.”
“Oh no,” whimpered Alliyah who didn’t want to be scary after all.
