The Glowing A-Compass

Arlo lived on the first Whispering Island. He loved maps! Arlo had a special A-compass. It glowed when near A-crystals. One day, the compass glowed very brightly! Arlo saw a big crack in the Alphabet Tower. Uh oh! The crystal was gone! He packed his tiny bag. He put in a yummy berry and a small blanket. Today was going to be a big day. The wind whispered, 'Find the A!' Arlo knew he had to find the missing A-crystal. It was time for an adventure! He needed to save the alphabet.
Rhyming Bina's Arrival

Arlo wondered where to go first. Then, he heard a sweet voice. 'A map you seek, for a crystal so weak? A rhyming friend is what you need, journey quick is the deed!' It was Bina! She spoke in rhymes! She carried the Book of Sounds. 'Hello, Arlo. I'm Bina!' she said with a smile. Bina held up her Book of Sounds. 'The A-sound went that way,' she rhymed, pointing with a tiny finger. 'Along with you, I shall play!' Arlo smiled. Having a friend made the adventure better.
Cedric of the Clouds

Suddenly, the sky turned a soft blue. A fluffy creature floated down. It was Cedric! He was blue and made of clouds. Cedric could make letters with his cloud body. 'Hello there!' he said in a gentle voice. 'I saw the A-crystal fly. I can help you find it high!' Cedric floated above them. He pointed towards a distant island. 'The B-Island is where it went,' he announced softly. Arlo and Bina looked at each other. They had a team now. They were so excited! The A-crystal needed them now.
The B-Island Bushes

They took a little boat to B-Island. The B-Island was full of big, bushy berry plants. 'Uh oh,' said Arlo. 'The compass doesn't glow here.' Bina opened her Book of Sounds. 'The B-sound is strong, like a buzzing bee's song!' she chanted. 'But the A-sound is hiding, residing, confiding!' Cedric made a big cloud 'A.' He floated it above the bushes. Slowly, one bush started to shake. 'There!' cried Bina. 'The A is hiding inside!' They carefully parted the branches. There, glowing softly, was the A-crystal!
The Ticklish Berry Trap

As Arlo reached for the crystal, the bushes giggled. 'Tickle, tickle!' The bush tickled Arlo's hand. Arlo laughed and dropped his bag. 'We need to be gentle,' said Bina. 'Perhaps a trade would be helpful, cheerful, and graceful!' Bina picked a bright red berry. She offered it to the bush. The bush stopped tickling. It nibbled the berry happily. 'Thank you!' whispered the bush. It let Arlo take the A-crystal. Arlo thanked the bush. He learned to be gentle and kind.
Flying Back with Cedric

Cedric made a giant cloud platform. Arlo and Bina hopped on. They held the A-crystal carefully. Cedric floated them back to A-Island. Looking down, Arlo could see all the islands. 'We have to get the crystal back to the tower.' Bina sang a rhyming song, 'Floating high, among the sky, taking crystals, before we cry!' The song filled the air. It gave them courage. The journey was just beginning for them now. They were the alphabet heroes.
Alphabet Tower's Glow

They arrived at the Alphabet Tower. The crack was still there. The tower looked sad and dim. Arlo held up the A-crystal. It glowed brightly. He carefully placed it back in the crack. The tower shimmered. It glowed a little brighter. 'One crystal at a time, this adventure is mine!' Arlo said with determination. He knew this was a big job for him. But, he was ready with his friends next to him. They all needed to work together in this difficult adventure.
Journey to C-Island

'Onward to C-Island!' Cedric declared. He formed a cloud-arrow pointing the way. 'But what awaits, beyond the gates? Another crystal, sealed by fates!' Bina rhymed nervously. Arlo checked his map. C-Island looked like a maze. 'We need to be brave. Together we'll save. Each crystal we crave!' he declared. He took a deep breath. They boarded the little boat again. Ready to sail towards C-Island and into another puzzle that needed solving now for the alphabet.
Cedric's Cloud Compass

They landed on C-Island. It was a puzzling maze, with tall, green walls. Arlo's A-compass didn't work here. 'My Book of Sounds can help,' Bina said. 'The C-sound, so clear, is near! But the path's unclear, have no fear!' Bina listened carefully. She heard a faint 'C' sound, like a quiet chirp. Cedric floated high up. 'I can see a way!' he called. 'The path makes a big 'C'! Follow me happily!' Cedric made a cloud bridge that they can walk on from the ground.
The Chattering Chirp

They followed Cedric's directions. They walked along the 'C' shaped path. It was very long but they knew they had to make it. The 'C' sound grew louder. They found a small bird with bright blue feathers. 'Chirp, chirp! The crystal is trapped!' the bird chirped. 'Inside a chattering chest, put to a test!' Arlo saw a wooden chest. It was chattering its teeth. It was a very cold chest. 'It's cold!' Arlo exclaimed. 'We need something warm,' replied Bina. 'A blanket?'
Warming the Chest

Bina carefully wrapped the chest with Arlo's small blanket. 'Warmth it needs, to plant the seeds, of happiness, less distress!' she said. The chest stopped chattering. It slowly opened. Inside, nestled on soft moss, was the C-crystal. It glowed with a gentle, soft and light green light. Arlo carefully picked it up. 'Thank you, friends!' Chirped the little bird. 'You solved the maze and warmed it!' said the bird once again to the happy crystal savers, Arlo, Bina, and Cedric.
Blueprints for Transport

Cedric made a cloud cradle to carry the crystal. He gently put the C-crystal inside. It settled down quietly. They thanked the little bird. 'Now, back to the tower with speed!' Cedric exclaimed. They retraced their steps. They walked back down the maze and back to the little boat. Arlo examined his map again. 'D-Island is next,' he said. 'It looks very far!' He looked at his friends while holding the map and wondering what was up ahead for them in this adventure.
Nightfall on the Islands

The sun began to set. They were still far from D-Island. 'Night is near, and danger clear, without light, filled with fright!' rhymed Bina. Cedric glowed softly like a nightlight. 'I can help with that!' he said. He shimmered with brighter and brighter blue lights. They found a small, sandy beach. They pulled the boat ashore. Arlo shared his yummy berry. It was all they had to eat so far. Bina sang a lullaby to the crystal, making it glow ever so slightly.
Dreaming of Letters

They snuggled together beside the boat. Arlo, Bina, and Cedric stared up at the stars. Arlo dreamt of maps. He wished he had a map of the whole Alphabet Tower. Bina dreamt of rhyming words. She dreamed of filling her Book of Sounds with new chants. Cedric dreamt of floating among the clouds. He dreamed of shaping the alphabet with his magic. All three of them dreamt happily throughout the night.
Back to the Tower.

The sun arose. They packed up. It was time for them to put the 'C'-crystal back in place. Cedric made a cloud that helped carry the boat with the heroes and C-crystal. Arlo checked his crystal tracker and realized they had three more crystals to go! Bina chanted a song to the crystal to give it power. They were determined to save all the crystals. This kept them going towards the tower, which was not an easy task. 'I can do this.' Arlo said under his breath because he wanted the tower to go back to what it was.
The Saved Tower

Back at the tower the crack was still showing. The 'A' and 'C' crystals gave off light near their respective places. Arlo found where the 'C' crystal went and carefully placed the crystal in its place. Then Cedric and Bina looked and could not believe that was the last crack. The glow was so bright now. 'Thank you very much, Arlo, Bina, and Cedric! You were chosen, and the tower is saved!' The three of them hugged and smiled when they realized their quest was completed. Their adventures were finished for now!
