Little Lily and the Lost Lamb

Little Lily, with bright blue eyes and a sunny smile, lived on a farm near a sparkling blue river. One day, she was playing with her fluffy white lamb, Pip. Pip, with his soft wool and playful bleats, loved to chase butterflies. He chased one too far and got lost in the tall, green grass.

Lily cried, "Pip! Pip! Where are you?" She searched everywhere. She looked behind the big red barn. She checked near the old oak tree. Nothing. A friendly bluebird, perched on a fence post, chirped, "I saw him! He went towards the whispering willows by the river!"

Lily ran towards the willows. The willows swayed gently in the warm breeze. She called Pip's name again. She heard a faint "Baa!" She searched, pushing aside the long, green leaves. There he was! Pip was stuck under a low-hanging branch.

Lily carefully pulled the branch. Pip was free! He nuzzled Lily, bleating happily. Lily hugged him tightly. They walked back to the farm together. The sun was setting, painting the sky in orange and purple hues.

That night, Lily learned to always keep a close eye on Pip. She also learned that even when things seem lost, asking for help and carefully looking will often help you find them.
