Penny and the Pocket Dragons

Penny, a girl with bright red hair and freckles, found a tiny, emerald-green dragon in her pocket. He was no bigger than her thumb! "My name's Sparky," the dragon whispered, his voice like tinkling bells. Sparky explained that he lived in a secret world of pocket-sized dragons in Penny's garden. A grumpy cat, Mittens, was trying to find their hidden village.

Penny, initially scared, felt sorry for Sparky. She decided to help. First, she tried hiding Sparky under a flower. Mittens sniffed it out. Next, she built a tiny house from twigs – Mittens knocked it over. Finally, Penny remembered her dollhouse. She painstakingly created a tiny door and hid the dragons inside, camouflaged the entrance with moss. Mittens prowled around, but the dollhouse was too big for her to easily investigate.

The next day, more tiny dragons emerged from the dollhouse. Penny's fear was replaced by a warm glow of courage. She brought them tiny berries and watched them play. She understood that dragons needed a friend and protection. Sparky, now confident, thanked Penny, and promised the dragons wouldn't be a secret anymore.
