Sunlight spilled across the cottage flower shop on this special morning. Herbs hung from the ceiling like fragrant green chandeliers. Terra-cotta pots crowded every wooden shelf from top to bottom. In the front window, a fat cat purred in crackling amber sparks. Zara adjusted her leather satchel filled with rustling seed packets. Today was the International Day of the Girl Child celebration across the realm. Her green ponytails sprouted tiny velvet leaves whenever she grew excited.\n\nGrandmother Willow leaned peacefully against her twisted tree-branch staff. The shop smelled like summer peaches, winter pine, and spring rain all at once. "Every young girl needs a spark of power today," the elder witch murmured gently.\n\n"I know just what blooms to gather!" Iris the flower fairy chirped, hovering near a clay basin. Iris brandished her silver watering can with practiced flourish. "Sun-poppies grant courage, while bluebells whisper deep wisdom to the heart!"\n\nSoon, three young girls from town stepped through the doorway. Their eyes grew round as saucers at the glowing, rustling petals. Zara wanted to weave the grandest, most marvelous spell bouquet imaginable. In her wild rush, she seized five bouncy hop-lilies. Then she crammed three ticklish giggle-daisies right into the center.\n\nSuddenly, the crowded bouquet gave a colossal wiggle. Ker-choo! The blossom sneezed with a mighty pop. Enormous pink bubbles exploded outward, bouncing across the countertops like rubber balls! A stray bubble bonked the sleeping cat, who hissed harmless blue sparks. Another bubble bumped a girl's nose, making her snort with surprise.\n\nZara’s sprouting ponytails wilted downward in sudden embarrassment. The cottage shop was quickly drowning in a dizzy tide of bouncy suds. "Too much fizz and no anchor!" Iris squeaked, dodging floating foam.\n\nGrandmother Willow watched with patient eyes, tapping her branch staff steadily. Zara knew magic would not tidy this mess on its own. She took a deep breath, kneeling by her satchel. Which seed brought quiet balance to restless, jumping energy?\n\n"Whisper-fern," Zara said softly. Whisper-ferns always held stubborn soil together after heavy mountain storms.\n\nZara carefully crushed dried lavender buds between her steady palms. Next, she sprinkled whisper-fern seeds across the bouncing stems. She wrapped each wobbly stalk in cooling ribbons of velvety green moss. Step by step, the wild bouncing slowed into a gentle, rhythmic sway. The giant pink bubbles popped into showers of shimmering gold confetti.\n\nThe young visitors clapped with pure delight at the dazzling shower. Zara smiled warmly and handed each girl a perfectly balanced bouquet. From each petal drifted tiny glowing sparks of fierce, quiet bravery. Grandmother Willow nodded proudly as the sweet shop filled with cheerful laughter.
