Once upon a time in the cheerful town of High Level, there lived a curious boy named Liam. He had big brown eyes that sparkled like stars and hair as golden as sunshine. One sunny morning, while exploring the rolling hills near his home, Liam stumbled upon something extraordinary.
"What’s that shiny thing?" he wondered aloud as he dashed towards it.
As he got closer, Liam discovered it was not just any shiny object but a shimmering scale! It sparkled in all colors of the rainbow. He picked it up carefully. Suddenly, out from behind a big tree came a gentle rumble that sounded like laughter.
“Hello there!” boomed a friendly voice.
Startled but curious, Liam looked around and gasped when he saw what stood before him—a magnificent dragon! His name was Tristan. Tristan had scales that glimmered like emeralds and huge wings that fluttered gently in the breeze.
“Don’t be scared,” said Tristan with a warm smile. “I promise I’m just here for fun!”
“I’m not scared!” replied Liam bravely though his heart raced with excitement.
“What do you want to do?” asked Tristan eagerly.
Liam thought for a moment then said excitedly, “Let’s play hide-and-seek!”
Tristan chuckled so hard clouds formed above them! “Hide-and-seek sounds perfect! You count to ten while I hide.”
So off went Tristan into the colorful forest nearby where trees danced gently with every breeze. As soon as everyone started counting... 1... 2... 3... in no time at all, his wings flapped loudly through branches, trees shook with giggles, and leaves whispered secrets about where their friend would go! 10! “Ready or not—here I come!” shouted Liam joyfully. He scampered through bushes and under low-hanging branches searching high and low. After looking everywhere yet finding nothing, a bright flash caught his eye! lurking behind sparkling flowers glowed hints of green scales peeking out mischievously! delighted by this discovery,Liam yelled: "Found you!" bursting into fits of laughter together until they ran wild across fields again chasing butterflies on sunny days—what magic they made each day together!
