Lost on the Lunar Playground
Chirpy, a fluffy yellow chick wearing a tiny silver helmet, bounced his bright red moon-ball across the shimmering, dusty lunar playground. His friends, gentle cow Luna with sparkle-hooves and quick rabbit Pip with long, twitching antennas, watched him play. Chirpy laughed, then closed his big, round eyes just for a second. "Ready or not!" he chirped.
Clues from Crater-Coasts
Chirpy's little beak dropped open. "My moon-ball! Where did it go?" He waddled quickly to Luna, who was munching on purple space-grass. "Did you see the ball, Luna?" Luna mooed softly, pointing a sparkly hoof towards the tall, rocky crater-coasts. "It rolled past… very fast!" Next, Chirpy zipped to Pip, who was doing zero-gravity flips.
Shadows and a Slow Search
Chirpy’s tiny heart thumped. "So fast and into the shadows!" He peered nervously into a dimly lit area between two large space-rocks. Luna and Pip joined in, carefully sniffing and peering. A small child, watching from a distant moon-buggy, blinked. The bright red ball was peeking from behind a giant space-turtle named Shelly, who was slowly blinking in a sleep crater, invisible to Chirpy.
A Planetary Discovery!
Chirpy, feeling a little droopy, decided to check just one more spot. He waddled around the very large, very slow Shelly the space-turtle. And there it was! His bright red moon-ball, tucked right behind Shelly’s shell! "I found it!" Chirpy chirped, bouncing with joy. Luna and Pip cheered, their voices echoing in the low gravity. "We found it! We found it!" they sang, happy to play again.
