Her big blue eyes reflected curiosity yet were clouded by insecurity.
One sunny morning while floating above fluffy white clouds dotted with golden sunbeams, Ella watched groups of children playing near their hovercrafts excitedly discussing their adventures. As she listened closely using her enhanced hearing ability developed by Dr. Vega—the brilliant scientist who cared for all animals—she picked up snippets of conversation about upcoming expeditions into uncharted territories beyond their familiar skies.
"I wish I could go too!" said a small boy named Jamie whose short stature contrasted sharply against his brave ambitions.
His friend Lily chimed in nervously but eagerly replied, "You think they would let us take our pet robot?"

“I want… I want to be brave,” confessed Ella hesitantly, breaking off mid-sentence feeling vulnerable sharing something so personal despite knowing well how kind-hearted this man was going nowhere! “But it is hard when you are so big.”

When it was Hinnie's turn, she tried to mimic the movements, but her gaze wandered to a soaring griffin in the distance. Her roll turned into a wobbly scramble, ending with her legs tangled and a soft bump. James the teacher sighed gently, his brow furrowed with a hint of concern. "Hinnie, focus," he advised, his voice kind but firm. "Gymnastics needs all your attention." Hinnie nodded, though her mind was already envisioning herself flying alongside the griffin.

It was a funny watch, not like other watches. It had many tiny gears. It glowed a little, like a firefly. Boop picked up the watch. It felt smooth and cool. A tiny button was on the side. Boop pushed the tiny button. Wooosh! The world spun around. Colors blurred into a rainbow. Boop felt a tickle, a funny little tickle. Then, everything stopped. Boop was still under the big tree. But something felt different. The air smelled old, like dust and wood. There were no bright cars. No loud music. Boop looked around, wide-eyed. Where did all the modern things go? This was very strange. Boop held the watch tight. It still glowed softly. Boop felt a little bit wiggly inside.
