The Lonely Sky
Little Luna, the moon, floated high in the big, dark sky. She felt a little lonely up there, so far away from everything. She watched the sleepy world below, quiet and still. She wished someone would talk to her, just a little bit. But the stars just twinkled, and the clouds just drifted by. Luna often sighed, a soft, silent puff of moonlight.
A Tiny Whisper
One night, Luna heard a tiny, tiny sound. It was like a little "peep-peep" from down on the Earth. "What was that?" she wondered, tilting her silvery glow. She wanted to hear more, but the sound was so faint. Luna leaned closer, her light a bit softer now. She tried to make her ears bigger, even though moons don't have ears. She focused all her moon-magic on listening.
Zoom's Zooming Idea
Suddenly, Zoom the Magical zipped by! Zoom was a speedy star, always zooming here and there. "Peep-peep!" went the sound again. Luna blinked. Zoom saw Luna trying so hard to hear. "What's wrong, Luna?" Zoom zippily asked. Luna explained her tiny sound. "I want to know what it is!" she whispered. Zoom had a sparky idea, twinkling brightly.
Boop's Big Ears
Zoom remembered Boop of the Wishing Well. Boop had the biggest ears in the sky! Zoom dashed off, a streak of light. Zoom found Boop floating near a shimmery well in space. "Boop! Luna needs your big ears!" Zoom buzzed. Boop, a wise, fluffy cloud with two enormous, gentle ears, slowly turned. "Tiny sounds?" Boop rumbled softly.
Bringing Boop to Luna
Zoom carefully guided Boop back to Luna. Boop moved slowly, like a big, fluffy boat. Luna watched them come closer, her light twinkling with excitement. "Hello, Boop," Luna said shyly. Boop gave a gentle cloud-nod. Now, Luna had a friend with super listening ears! Boop, with Zoom's help, gently floated near Luna. They were ready to help.
