Once upon a time in the cozy little town of Sparklewood, there lived a cheerful boy named Nyaire. He was excited because today was Christmas Day!
Nyaire woke up early, his heart racing like a little rabbit. The sun peeked through the curtains, casting sparkly light all around the room.
"Mom! Stepdad! It’s Christmas! Wake up!" he shouted joyfully.
His mom smiled sleepily. "Okay, okay! We’re coming," she said while stretching her arms. His stepdad chuckled softly from under the blankets.
Finally, they all rushed into the living room where colorful presents sat beneath a twinkling tree decorated with shiny ornaments and glimmering lights.
“Wow!” gasped Nyaire as he saw one special gift wrapped in golden paper that shimmered like stars!
“Can I open it first?” asked Nyaire bouncing on his toes.
“Let’s take turns,” suggested his mom with a warm smile.
They each took turns unwrapping their gifts—his mom got soft red mittens; his stepdad received an exciting book about dragons; but when it was Nyaire's turn…
He tore off the wrapping paper quickly to reveal something amazing—a tiny wooden box covered in beautiful carvings!
“What is this?” he wondered aloud as curiosity danced in his eyes.
“I think you should open it!” said Stepdad eagerly, a hint of mischief in his voice.
With trembling hands, Nyaire opened the little box—and out flew glittery gold butterflies that twirled around him!
“They are so pretty!” exclaimed Mom as she clapped her hands together excitedly. Each butterfly sparkled like sunshine!
Suddenly one butterfly landed on Nyaire’s nose and giggled sweetly, before fluttering back into the air. “Hello there!
