The Case of the Missing Marbles

Anwesh and Mukhil, two brothers known for their playful spirit, lived in a cozy cottage near a whispering willow tree. One afternoon, their prized collection of colorful marbles vanished! Anwesh, the elder, immediately launched an investigation. He noticed the window was slightly ajar. "Mukhil," he said, "Did you play outside today?" Mukhil shook his head and replied, "No, I was reading my book." Anwesh examined the area around the window. He found tiny footprints in the loose soil outside. They were too small for him or Mukhil.

He studied the trail, leading towards the old shed. Inside, amidst dusty tools, they found a small wooden chest. Anwesh tried to open it, but it was locked. Mukhil remembered his Grandpa's old tools. He carefully used a small screwdriver to unlock the chest. Inside, nestled amongst old fabrics lay their marbles, along with a note signed 'Sparrow'. They recalled seeing a small brown bird flitting near the window earlier. It must have pushed the window open to claim the treasure! Feeling relieved and pleased, the brothers returned the marbles to their rightful place. They learned about carefulness and the satisfaction of a mystery solved.
