Boop Finds a Shiny Watch
Boop from the Garden played in the green grass. The sun was warm on Boop's head. Boop saw something shiny. It was under a big, old tree. "Oh, what is this?" Boop asked. It was a funny watch, not like other watches. It had many tiny gears. It glowed a little, like a firefly. Boop picked up the watch. It felt smooth and cool. A tiny button was on the side. Boop pushed the tiny button. Wooosh! The world spun around. Colors blurred into a rainbow. Boop felt a tickle, a funny little tickle. Then, everything stopped. Boop was still under the big tree. But something felt different. The air smelled old, like dust and wood. There were no bright cars. No loud music. Boop looked around, wide-eyed. Where did all the modern things go? This was very strange. Boop held the watch tight. It still glowed softly. Boop felt a little bit wiggly inside.
Meeting New Friends in Old Times
Boop walked a little way from the tree. Boop saw a street, but it was not like Boop's street. Big carriages with horses pulled by. People wore long dresses and funny hats. Boop blinked big eyes. This was very, very old. Then, Boop heard a giggle. Hee hee! It was Happy Giggles. Happy Giggles had on a pretty blue dress. Happy Giggles was playing with a wooden doll. "Hello!" Happy Giggles waved. "Who are you?" Boop showed the shiny watch. "This watch... it brought me here!" Happy Giggles looked at the watch. "Ooh, sparkly!" Just then, Zoom the Happy zoomed by. Zoom the Happy had a small wheel. Zoom stopped to see the watch too. "Tick-tock watch!" Zoom pointed. Boop felt a little better with new friends. But Boop still wanted to go home. The watch still glowed. Boop wondered how it worked.
Finding the Clue to Go Home
Boop wanted to go back to Boop's time. "How do I do home?" Boop asked. Happy Giggles thought hard. Zoom the Happy looked at the watch. "Push the button again?" Zoom suggested. Boop tried. Push! Nothing happened. Only a small click. Happy Giggles saw a tiny, tiny picture on the back of the watch. "Look! A little sun! And a little moon!" Happy Giggles pointed with a small finger. Boop looked closer. Yes! A sun and a moon. "Maybe it means when the sun goes down? Or when the moon comes out?" Boop wondered. The friends decided to wait. They sat near a big clock tower. The big clock went tick-tock, tick-tock. The sun started to go sleepy. The sky turned orange and pink. Boop felt a little sleepy too. But Boop held the watch tight. They needed to find the secret.
