The Sparkly Mountain
Knight's Daughter looked up at the sky. A steep glass mountain shone like ice! It reflected puffy clouds and blue skies. Far up high stood a golden spire. Knight waved from the shiny peak. He wore a shiny golden helmet. Knight held a sparkly golden ring. Knight's Daughter wanted to reach him. She wanted to win the prize! "I can climb up!" she shouted. She adjusted her sturdy riding boots. Her tiny silver sword went clink, clink. Plonk! Plonk! Thump! Three Trolls stood at the slippery base. Three Trolls were round and very hairy. They tapped big stone hammers on rocks. "Nobody can pass!" roared Three Trolls. They made funny faces and stomped loudly. Knight's Daughter smiled a great big smile. She walked right up to the mountain path.
A Silly Glass Song
Three Trolls blocked the shiny blue path. They held their gray stone hammers high. "Halt, little girl!" shouted Three Trolls. Knight's Daughter drew her small silver sword. Did she poke them? No, she did not! She tapped a smooth glass bump instead. Tink, tink, buzz! The glass mountain made a silly ring. The goofy sound made the trolls wiggle. Three Trolls started dancing a merry jig! Thump, thump, wiggle, wiggle! They dropped their heavy stone hammers. Knight's Daughter skipped happily right past them. She leaped onto the steep glass slope. Whoosh! Her brown riding boots slipped fast. She slid right back toward the bottom. The glass mountain was much too slick! "Oh dear!" squeaked Knight's Daughter loudly.
Flying on the Breeze
A playful gust swirled in circles. Whoosh, swirl, giggle! It was the invisible Wind Spirit! Wind Spirit whistled a cheerful tune. Wind Spirit nudged her riding boots gently. "Will you help me?" she asked. The invisible helper gave a warm puff. Wind Spirit swooped under her boots. Zoom! Knight's Daughter floated into the air. She glided up the impossible glass mountain. The glass reflected pink and gold clouds. Wind Spirit carried her up steep cliffs. Wheeee! Knight's Daughter held her silver sword up. The shiny sword caught the bright sunshine. The wind blew faster and faster. A sudden gust wobbled her feet. Knight's Daughter almost tipped sideways! She leaned forward and kept her balance. She steered the breeze like a kite.
