Max the monkey loved bananas! He had a big bunch. Max swung through the trees. He held his bananas tight. Lulu the flamingo saw Max. She wanted to play with Max. Lulu smiled. She showed Max her new ball. Max looked at the ball then at his bananas. He wanted to play, but he loved bananas more. Max had to make a decision. Sharing his bananas means more play time with lulu.
Sharing is Caring
Lulu asked, 'Can we play, Max?' Max looked at his bananas. He thought hard. He never shared his bananas before. But Lulu looked sad. Max took one banana. He gave it to Lulu. Lulu clapped her wings! She said, 'Thank you!' Max felt happy too. He and Lulu played with the ball. They laughed and had so much fun. Max loved sharing.
The Sleepy Sloth
It was getting late. Bobo the sloth was sleepy. He yawned a big yawn. Bobo saw Max and Lulu. He waved slowly. Bobo said, 'I'm cold.' Max had a soft blanket. He used it for naps. Max loved his blanket. Lula suggested “Max share your blanket with bobo.” Max thought about his cozy blanket. Giving the blanket to Bobo might make him cold, he thought.
Blanket Buddies
Max took a deep breath. He walked to Bobo. He wrapped the blanket around Bobo. Bobo smiled. He felt warm and snuggly. Max felt good. He watched Bobo get cozy. Lulu sat next to Max. She patted his back. Lulu said, 'You're a good friend, Max!' Max smiled. Sharing his blanket made Bobo happy, it made himself happy. Having friends is so much more important, he realized.
