The Dark Festival Sky
Oliver and Sophia skipped through the lantern festival. Bright paper lanterns glowed red and yellow. But then, Sophia looked up. "Oh, Oliver!" she gasped. "No stars!" The night sky was empty, like a big, dark blanket. Oliver peered, his smile fading.
A Sparkle in the Bush
Oliver thought about the missing stars. "Maybe they fell down?" he wondered. He started looking on the ground, poking at the grass with his shoe. Sophia peeked into a rustling bush. "Look, Oliver!" she whispered, pointing to a tiny, wobbly light.
Shiny Catch
Carefully, Sophia reached into the bush. Her fingers closed around something smooth and round. She pulled it out. "It's a star!" Oliver exclaimed. It was a small, shiny, glass star, like a tiny twinkle. Then they saw another, and another, stuck in the leaves!
Starry Night is Back!
Oliver and Sophia giggled. "Someone must have dropped them!" said Sophia. Together, they gathered all the little glass stars. They held them up high, and the stars sparkled like tiny diamonds. The festival lights made them glow even more. Now, the whole sky, even without big stars, felt bright and magical again, thanks to their tiny treasures.
